One of Volvo Penta's unique selling propositions is they have created a product that takes the worry out of docking large boats. The InBoard Propulsion System in use with Volvo Penta Marine Engines lets the boat driver dock with the simple use of a joystick. It controls sterring and throttle allowing the boat to be driven sideways, if necessary, to dock safely in strong currents in tight places.
