Meridian Group is charged with providing comprehensive branding, advertising and public relations strategies for one of Belize’s first luxury resort and condominium master-planned communities. The agency’s New York office will manage public relations for the resort, while its Virginia Beach headquarters will spearhead advertising and branding efforts.

Ara Macao Resort and Marina is being developed by Scarlet Macaw Resort, L.P. an Illinois limited partnership. The project encompasses 600 acres and a mile of Caribbean oceanfront. The project plans are highly sensitive to ecological preservation of the area and includes provision for establishing a rainforest preserve and a separate sanctuary for the resident Scarlet Macaw population.

When completed, the resort will feature 432 condominium homes arranged in three- and four-story buildings featuring dramatic ocean views, single- and multi-level open space floor plans, quality finishes and luxuriant landscaping. Plans also include a 260-room luxury hotel, a 200-boat marina and inland waterway, 104 marina villas, 180 lagoon villas, a dive and game fishing shop, a golf resort with up to 55-single-family residential golf course lots, a gaming casino and nightclub, six swimming pools, tennis courts, restaurants, retail and commercial space, plus facilities for support and services.
