VIRGINIA BEACH, Va.—The Meridian Group, a full-service advertising
and public relations agency, has expanded its public relations team
with the addition of two public relations assistants.
A 2005 graduate of Old Dominion University, Amy Peele began her
tenure at The Meridian Group as an intern and was recently hired
as a public relations assistant. Her talents in writing, research
and media relations will be applied to the team’s client
roster including STIHL, St. James Plantation and GeneralSports
Turf Systems. Peele previously held an internship at King Street
Advertising in Auckland, NZ and contributed to marketing efforts
for Time Lounge in Norfolk.
Keith Stoeckeler is a 2005 Virginia Wesleyan graduate, joining
the agency after completing internships with Dave Iwans &
Associates and FestEvents. At The Meridian Group, he will contribute
to a variety of accounts including STIHL, GeneralSports Turf Systems
and new business initiatives. As a student, Stoeckeler served
as a contributing writer for the university’s student newspaper
The Marlin Chronicle, was member of the Society of Collegiate
Journalists and founded CEER!US, an apparel company.
