VIRGINIA BEACH, VA. – Scott Sanders has
joined Meridian Group, a full-service marketing and communications
agency, as Team Leader. He was hired primarily to lead the new
Hall Automotive account, which Meridian Group took over in January
2007.
Before joining Meridian, Sanders worked as the General Manager
for WTVZ-TV (FOX/WB) in Norfolk, VA for more than ten years. Along
with all aspects of station management, Sanders directed the transition
from the FOX affiliation to the WB affiliation in August of 1998.
He also won a 2000 “Froggy Award” from the WB network
for Best Overall Operation of any affiliate after only 21 months.
Prior to WTVZ-TV, Sanders worked for other TV stations, including
WRLH-TV in Richmond, VA and KTVU-TV in San Francisco.
As the Team Leader of the Hall account, Sanders will be responsible
for leading an extensive brand re-building effort, including advertising,
Internet and direct marketing, and consultation on all aspects
of the company’s business.
“We are so fortunate to have the chance to apply Scott’s
years of experience and extensive knowledge of sales and general
management to our clients, particularly Hall Automotive,”
said Meridian Group CEO Joseph Takach. “Scott’s involvement
will contribute to a long-standing and fruitful partnership with
Hall.”
