| (Virginia Beach, Va) – Launch Interactive, a division of Meridian Group, has appointed Elizabeth Lester as President of the company. Lester replaces former president Stephanie Krebs who has resigned her position in order to pursue a career in healthcare.
Before joining Launch Interactive, Lester worked as the Director of Marketing for Homes.com. She was responsible for a 24% increase in revenue for the company through the creation of high-quality sales tools, and the implementation of effective lead generating programs. Prior to that, she was a Senior Marketing Manager with Washintonpost.com, Newsweek Interactive where she developed sales and marketing strategies to increase revenue for the company’s online properties.
“Elizabeth brings over ten years of interactive experience not only from the .com side of the business but also from the agency side” said Joseph Takach, Meridian Group CEO. “Her extensive background will be a great asset to Launch Interactive.”
Lester is a graduate of the College of William and Mary where she received a degree in English and Fine Arts. She currently resides in Norfolk with her husband and two daughters.
