ACCOUNT COORDINATOR INTERNSHIP
Meridian Group's travel and leisure team seeks a motivated team player for an account coordinator internship. Responsibilities may include: assisting the client team with day-to-day account projects, monitoring trends, editing, writing/content development, presentation building, quantitative and qualitative client research, conducting and contributing to brainstorming sessions, in-depth ROI analysis and reporting, along with day-to-day administrative duties. Opportunity to learn about marketing, advertising and interactive disciplines and attend professional development seminars. Internship is unpaid but can be used for school credit.

Applicant qualifications should include:

Excellent communications skills, writing ability and computer skills a MUST.
Knowledge of social media preferred, but not required.
Prior internship experience preferred, but not required.
Must be available 15-20 hours per week during the semester.

PUBLIC RELATIONS INTERNSHIP
Meridian Group’s public relations team seeks a motivated team player with a flair for communications. Responsibilities may include: assisting public relations team with day-to-day account projects, monitoring trends, editing and writing press releases, media relations activities, developing editorial calendars, conducting basic research and contribute to brainstorming sessions. Opportunity to learn about public relations, advertising and interactive disciplines and attend professional development seminars. Internship is unpaid but can be used for school credit.

Applicant qualifications should include:

Excellent communications skills, writing ability and computer skills a MUST.
Prior internship experience preferred, but not required.
Understanding of AP style a plus.
Must be available 15-20 hours per week during the semester.

WEB DESIGN INTERNSHIP
Get hands-on exposure to all aspects of interactive design, from brainstorming to execution. You will be working with the team on a wide variety of tasks from site maintenance, comp production, concepting, brainstorming, banner ads, presentations, e-mail marketing campaigns and other collateral for some a variety of clients. Experience with Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver and Flash a must. Familiarity with web design and information architecture, HTML, CSS Strong typography and layout skills a plus.

Hours are flexible, but must be willing to work 8-20 hours, 1 to 3 days a week. Here's a tip: when you contact us, include some of your best samples or portfolio web site. Internship is unpaid but can be used for school credit.
