Terry is the original co-founder and President when Kelley, Reilly & Smith Public Relations served as a division of The Meridian Group fifteen years ago. Terry came back to Meridian two years ago after working with some of the biggest names in sports and media. He says, "It was an extended seminar working with some of the best and brightest people in the industry."
Having been at the helm of the some of the agency's high-profile accounts for the past few years, he is most proud of his staff of seasoned professionals. "We can cover any type of corporate challenge with this group of tireless, fun and very creative specialists who are classic overachievers." Terry heads up accounts for STIHL, APM Terminals, Canon and the Wounded Warrior Project.
Erin Brothers
SENIOR ACCOUNT MANAGER
As Account Manager with public relations and corporate teams, Erin brings her precise attention to detail and high level of enthusiasm to the agency. She handles the day-to-day client relations and supports her teams' tactics for a variety of clients such as STIHL Inc. and Canon Virginia Inc. Erin has also worked on accounts ranging from Norfolk International Airport, Kingsmill Resort, The Boar's Head Inn and APM Terminals Virginia. Erin collaborates with Corporate and PR team to develop marketing strategies that lead to a successful campaign that is on time and on target..
Ayla Hay
SENIOR PUBLIC RELATIONS COUNSELOR
Ayla comes to Meridian after spending six years working and living in the New York metropolitan area. Her career in PR began soon after her Muhlenberg College graduation when she landed a job working as a legal assistant. She quickly decided law was not for her and used her energy and enthusiasm to land a job for one of the most respected travel PR agencies in Manhattan.
Ayla's experience ranges from coordinating special events, developing media relationships, on both a national and regional level, drafting creative actions plans and coordinating promotions and sweepstakes.
Kate Davis
PUBLIC RELATIONS COUNSELOR
With a diverse background in public relations that includes coordinating national and international press campaigns for actors, authors and musicians; Kate brings unique insight into campaigns for Meridian Group's corporate clients. During her time with one of the largest entertainment public relations firms in Los Angeles she built strong working relationships with journalists from around the country and the world.
Her experience includes the development and implementation of comprehensive, award-winning campaigns for multiple government authorities, including the Orange County Convention Center, Titusville Airport Authority, The Florida Department of Health and the Tampa-Hillsborough Expressway Authority, as well as clients in travel and tourism, hospitality, sports and law.
Katherine Dorey
PUBLIC RELATIONS ASSISTANT
Katherine was hired after completing a summer 2009 internship at Meridian Group, where she quickly became an integral part of the team, assisting in events planning, press release writing, and media relations. Before joining Meridian Group, she was the marketing coordinator for The E-mail Tree, an email marketing company in Norfolk, Va., where she developed the initial strategic marketing plan and was responsible for writing and creating press materials. Prior to that, she was a communication intern for Titan TV in New York City.
Katherine is a graduate of James Madison University where she received a bachelor's degree in Communication Studies with a concentration in Public Relations.
