| I want to thank you for your participation in Meridian Group’s 25th Anniversary event to benefit the Wounded Warrior Project. Last Monday, August 22, 2005, we hosted over 100 clients, friends and associates in a day-of-giving at the Cavalier Yacht & Golf Club. The day’s events included a golf tournament, dinner and live auction that raised just over our goal of $25,000.00 for this worthy cause. Many of you participated through donations, items for the live auction or by participating in the day’s events. The results could not have been possible without your participation. John Melio, President of the Wounded Warrior Project and a few of the disabled veterans attended the event and were sincerely moved by the support of the Hampton Roads’ business community.
