Virginia Air & Space Center

As the birthplace of our country’s air and space technology, Hampton Virginia celebrates its accomplishments through NASA Langley’s Visitor Center at the Virginia Air and Space Center. For the 25th anniversary of the center in 2017, Meridian Group worked with the VASC team to develop an innovative and engaging web presence. When visitors arrive at the responsively designed website, they are greeted by an astronaut flying through space who welcomes them to explore. The website was built using WordPress and Meridian Group customized the CMS to allow for easy updating of all content by VASC’s non-technical staff members. Since the launch of the website in May 2017, the Virginia Air and Space Center has seen a 38% increase in web traffic and an increase in visitation to the center.
